VIBE — RIDE-BOOKING PLATFORM

THE MISSION

Build a driver-first ride-booking platform supporting Bike, Auto and Cab rides with dedicated Rider and Driver mobile applications.

THE APPROACH

Architected a pnpm workspace monorepo with React Native + Expo apps, a Node.js + Fastify REST API and shared TypeScript types through a custom package.

THE RESULT

Implemented the ride lifecycle SEARCHING → DRIVER_ASSIGNED → DRIVER_ARRIVING → RIDE_STARTED → RIDE_COMPLETED, including fare calculation, driver assignment, availability and earnings/commission workflows.

PRODUCT MODEL

Drivers retain 90% of fares with a 10% platform commission model. A VIBE+ premium tier is planned with 100% fare retention.

ENGINEERING PROOF

End-to-end Rider → API → Driver workflow tested locally using Android emulators, with AI tools used for architecture, implementation, debugging and refinement.
